I managed to get one hike in this summer, and made the most of it with two summits in one trip. I haven’t gone solo in a while, but as the kids grow up I find myself tackling these hikes alone.
I was again blessed with fantastic weather and great views. A few people on the trails but not many, and I was able to see one young gentleman complete his 48th 4k which was fun. Both peaks were pretty subdue in their fanfare at the top, but the journey can be better than the destination.
